pARTi

"pARTi" emerged as an art production collective out of the "Nowhere" culture institute, and "houses" six multi talented and ambitious young girls working on solo projects like art shows and performances, often in collaboration with well established artists. A 2007 art workshop under supervision of designer Tobias Krasenberg and his "Miami Vice Team" launched the birth of pARTi as a collective, when their first group show in Amsterdams well know "Chiellerie" underground gallery was a fact. The 2010 "Public pARTi" show featured a collaboration between the "pARTi girls" and an artist or designer of their individual choice, which resulted in the transformation of an abandoned harware shop into a full scale and "happening" gallery for the month the show was running. Since then “pARTi” has been seen on several popular and well visited Amsterdam festivals like “Nuit Blanche”, “Andy’s Culture Market” and the “Rode Loper Festival”. Trademark in their lively setup is audience participation, contributing in the process of building their interactive installations like "The Drawing Machine", in which people draw collectively by using pencils attached to long stretched strings or cables.
“pARTi” is Zindzi Zwietering, Kiki van Caspel, Fay Mensink, Camille Parthesius, Sophia de Hoog, and Ellen Deinum. Under supervision of designer Tobias Krasenberg.
